Do you ever like a trend so much you continue to wear it even though it’s no longer trending? Yeah, that’s me with Blazer Dresses! A blazer dress is the perfect combination of sexy and sleek. It gives you a sultry yet sophisticated vibe. I usually slip on a blazer dress if I’m torn between wearing a power blazer and jeans or chic dress. It gives me the best of both worlds.
While I love the trendy piece it wasn’t all roses for me when I was trying to nail down the perfect blazer dress to fit my silhouette. I have a small waist but wide hips. Plus, I’m 5’7 with long legs so dresses tend to look shorter on me than it would on someone maybe 5’2. This dress was so simple to style and that’s another reason why I love the piece. I paired it with rose gold ankle strap heels that I also found from ASOS ( two years ago) for $16. I added a gold chain cork purse to the look. Easy Breezy, right? A no fuss look!
You will definitely see this dress again and again because it’s a perfect transitional piece. It can take you from spring to summer and summer to fall. For spring punctuate your blazer dress with a pair of pumps and for the fall style with a pair of banging boots. During the summer months go for a sleek sandal.

2. Look for a tie waist. That way you can cinch the dress to accentuate your waist due to sizing up
