There’s no secret. I love this time of year. Even as a 30-something I still get excited about Christmas. From festive decor to holiday shindigs and spending time with family, I love the spirit of the holiday. The best part is giving to others. But your girl doesn’t have a gift to give. I’ve waited to the very last minute to shop and Christmas is literally around the corner. Seriously, Christmas is next Monday.
That’s only five days away and guess who is not finished shopping? Or shall I say, guess who hasn’t started Christmas shopping yet? That would be. I haven’t bought a gift. NOT.ONE.Gift. Okay, just one gift. I picked up a few things for my mentee but that’s it and I have a long list. So I have a game plan. I’m off Thursday and Friday and I will shop til I drop. Easy, right? Let’s hope that’s the case.
Last minute Christmas shopping is a first for me, but I’ll see what all the procrastinators are talking about this year.
