Colorful leather looks were the go-to pieces for spring and the wave is continuing this fall. Designers are going beyond outerwear when it comes to leather looks. The pieces are coming in shorts, dresses, skirts, and even shirts. The looks are also getting bolder. Rich , deep, and bright colors are taking over like Cash Money did in the 99’s and the 2000’s. Not to be outdone, muted and traditional fall colors are also getting shine with this trend. I like both the bold hues and the muted colors.
If you’re the kind of girl that only likes her leather as outwear let my most recent look serve as inspiration to step out of your comfort zone. A leather dress or in my case a faux leather dress is sexy, edgy , and can be classic. It can be worn to work, dinner or out with the girls.
And the dress can transition from season-to-season. Here I’m wearing my dress with nude sandals, but I can wear it with boots for the fall and with leggings during the winter.
