True life I don’t wear pants. Like hardly ever. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve worn pants this year. Jeans and leggings don’t count. I’m talking classic slacks with a flat front, maybe a belt loop, and a tailored look.
Don’t get me wrong I like pants, but I’ve never been a pants person. Don’t know why. I tend to gravitate to dresses and skirts. I’ll throw on a pair of jeans in a heartbeat but my closet is missing a nice selection of pants.
I’m starting to change this though. Slowly, but surely, progress is being made and it’s all because of these floral pants. Say hello to one of my newest additions. These hunter green floral printed Carolina Belle Montreal ankle length pants.
Totally fab,right? These will definitely make anyone re-think this no pants notion. It did for me, that’s for sure. It was love at first sight inside T J Maxx. No lie, my eyes were filled with hearts.
I paired my printed pants with a white cold shoulder Cupio button front blouse. The top features a ruffle design around the shoulder and a peplum waist. I also snagged the blouse from T J Maxx. I actually bought both pieces with each one in mind.
To finish the look I was dead set on wearing nude pumps, but I had a change of heart. I made a game time decision and decided that my pink faux fur heels from Missguided would make the look pop!
Not sure if it brought out the look but it definitely became a focal point of my look, taking the attention away from my bold pants.
I wore this look to speak at a career day event at a local elementary and middle school. From students to teachers, my look was a hit, proving my style transcends all age groups. Everyone can appreciate a good style factor.
