We’re only two days away from Christmas morning and creating more memories with our families. If you can’t tell, I’m so freaking excited. This is my absolute favorite time of the year. I swear, I’m always happy in December. I definitely believe it’s a part of the Christmas Magic. All of this holiday cheer has your girl feeling super festive and it’s shining through with my fashion picks. Check out my latest festive style choice. The key is too look festive without looking cheesy.
I frolicked around is this super fun, super chic, and super inexpensive red Mango pleated skirt. I bought this skirt for $11.99 off of J. C. Penney’s clearance rack. It was nearly 80 percent off of the original price.
I teamed my flirty red skirt with a whimsical t-shirt I scored off of Forever 21’s clearance rack this summer. The white tee is covered in sequin appliqué ants. I would freak out if any bug ever crawled on me, but here, it’s all right with the world.
I added some edginess to the look by rocking my Forever 21 faux leather moto jacket to the mix. I brought more playfulness to the look with my cute gold embellished cat ear headband.
A vampie lip and my suede Jeffrey Campbell booties finished the look.
Bottom Line:
Style and Fit: The t-shirt has some stretch to it, but kinda lost its shape after the first wash.
The skirt runs true to size. It has no stretch at all. I picked up a size four.
Trendy or Staple?
The tee is definitely trendy and wouldn’t be considered a staple in your closet.
The skirt could be a staple. I think every girl should own a pleated skirt. Not sure if your staple pleated skirt should be red. The color alone has this red skirt teetering in the trendy category.
Endless Style Options or One Hit Wonder ?
Both pieces will offer you endless style options. The t-shirt could work with black jeans, black or colored skirts and pants. I wore the tee once already HERE with black and white polka dot pants.
