There are a few things that instantly make me smile. Sequins and polka dots are at the top of that list. Who doesn’t love a little sparkle? Plus, polka dots scream girly-girl. I remember one summer I had a crazy romance with the print. Literally every week I was dressed in some variation of polka dots. Recently, I was able to pair two of my favorite things together and the results were amazing.
Since I love all things that sparkle and shine, I was immediately drawn to this embellished t-shirt from forever 21 (sold out,sorry). The white crew neck tee is adorned with black sequin appliqué ants. I hate insects, but in this case the creepy crawlers twinkle and glisten so I had to make an exception.
I teamed my quirky tee with a pair of fun pants. I scored my polka dot ankle length pants from the thrift store. I paid less than $5 for my cool pants.
I really wanted to wear pink heels with this look, but seeing that I don’t own a pair, I wore my favorite red Just Fab fringe heels with this look.
