It’s fall but it feels like summer in Alabama. I’m ready for boots, moto, jackets , and more importantly cooler temperatures. After spending the last few years in ‘Snowmagedon’ you would think I would be rejoicing in the warmer weather, but I’m over it. I’m ready for the REAL fall weather to kick it in, darn it!!!! So this weekend I started to gear up for fall and showcased some of my fall fashion. And in true Jamiese Monét fashion, this look was on trend and on budget. Take a peek.
I absolutely love a white blouse. It’s a fashion requirement and a must have in your closet. My best friend in my head, Solange , told me all about the white blouse and its role in your wardrobe. I took heed and I have a few. This one is one of my favorite from my collection. It’s a thrifted Bloomingdales button front blouse with front pockets.
I paired the crisp blouse with a flirty Merona ruffle hem mini skirt that I purchased from the Target’s clearance rack. $13 well spent!
The focal point of this look was this beautiful hunter green Suede moto jacket. If you follow me on snapchat (@iamprettyprice) and you should , you’ll remember me trying this jacket on during one of my episodes of “Dressing Room Diaries.” There I gushed over this jacket.
This jacket was pretty pricey for me. I spent $100 bucks for this bad boy, but I couldn’t leave it. When you think about it, that’s not bad for a suede jacket. The brand is SL8 and I scored it at T.J. Maxx.
I finished the look with a black tie front choker, the hottest sunglasses ever and a super vampie lip. JustFab Catherina Sandals finished the look. Can’t wait to trade those sandals for booties and over the knee boots.
