I’m Waaay up, I feel blessed. I’m grateful for every single opportunity I’ve received in this life of mine and I’ve been afforded plenty. I’m always in complete AWE that GOD (YES, I’m a believer) brings amazing people in my life or finds a way to connect me with people making a difference.
Recently, I had the AMAZING opportunity to work with Juanita Washington, the Editor-in Chief of BreakThru Magazine. It is a regional publication distributed through Wegmans in Rochester and Buffalo. I was asked to write an article featuring the best beauty products for the summer. The article would be published in its Summer 2015 issue.
Beauty buys and fashion favorites are things I know well, so I jumped on the opportunity. A few months later my favorite perfumes, body lotions, and makeup must haves for the summer were laid out in a magazine. Y’all, don’t understand the level of excitement I had when flipping through the pages of BreakThru Magazine and finding an article I wrote. My name along with my baby, “Ooh La La Blog,” were listed in this incredible publication. I literally squealed like a school girl. Pretty cool, right?
