Can I be honest? Okay, here goes….. I was never a fan of maxi dress until maybe two years ago.Even after buying this beautiful printed Maxi from Forever 21 several years ago I still wasn’t quite sold.
I don’t know why I wasn’t an instant fan of maxi dresses. They’re easy, breezy, and tend to work for most occasions, so what was the problem. I wish I could tell you, but whatever it was I’m glad its over. I love them now and I own at least six. I’ve even found a cool way to maximize the maxi.
Here’s my maxi as is. I teamed this printed dress with a pair of neutral colored sandals. My MOSSIMO nude colored “Shari” heels were a perfect match.
I added a gold double chain necklace and my dollhouse pink lipstick to complete the look.
I decided to give my maxi a mew look and where it like a skirt. I thought the dress made an absolutely beautiful skirt.
I paired the skirt/dress with my thrifted white Bloomingdales white button down blouse.
For fun I added two thrifted gold broaches. Just Fab Paean Seafoam Ankle Strap sandals and chandelier earrings finished my look.
