A student by day and blogger by night, Doreen is the Editor-In-Chief of her own personal style blog StylishedForever. Doreen is from Ghana, West Africa but currently resides in Toronto for school. The book worm turned fashionista is our Friday Fly Philosophy feature. Doreen describes her style as  eclectic, a little bit of everything.  Take a look for yourself

Ooh La La Blog:
What’s your Fly Philosophy?

I adore masculine cuts with feminine twists. I also wear a lot of bold colours and mixed prints. Like most girls, I also LOVE my feminine dresses with a slight edge.

Ooh La La Blog: What are some of your favorite places to shop and favorite designers?
Mostly I shop online but I also love H&M, Zara, and Primark. When it comes to high-end designers, I love Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen!!

Ooh La La Blog: What’s your Fashion Pet Peeves?
Flatforms!! It’s extremely popular now and I’m slightly tempted to try it out but I promised myself never to succumb to it but I guess if it doesn’t fly off the shelves anytime soon, it’s just a matter of time. You never know when I’ll fall a victim to this huge pet peeve of mine…

Ooh La La Blog: What are the top three items in your closet you can’t live without? In other words what’s in heavy rotation?
Right now (since its winter), my men’s watch, black stockings and my cardigans/blazers.

Ooh La La Blog: For other girls looking admiring your style give them some tips on how they too can achieve your look.
Well for starters, don’t spend too much on clothes (especially when you know you can’t afford it). It’s just a matter of getting the staple items in your closet to be able to mix and match.

I love how Doreen plays with prints and color. She also showed us  how to rock a shirt two different ways, I love it!  Thanks Doreen your style is authentic and on point! Good luck in school!
