Happy Hump Day Sweeties! This week is off to a great start. The weather has been amazing. For a second I thought I was back in Alabama. It was so warm I even laid out on the beach. I also enjoyed my second week of kick boxing. I swear I’m picking up a new hobby every week to keep me busy. And I don’t know about you guys, but I’m still recovering from Beyoncé’s MTV Video Music Awards shut down. Insane right,? How about the adorable Blue Ivy? I’m still gushing. Beyoncé Covers CR Fashion Book
Beyoncé Knowles shuts its down once again. No surprise here. The ‘XO’ songstress is serving a major helping of fierceness infused with fashion for the September issue of Carine Roitfeld‘s CR Fashion Book.
For the cover Queen Bey is wearing a black sequin mask (very,Kanye-esque) and a floral Yohji Yama Moto Cape and sleek black pumps.
But that’s only the beginning, there’s more dopeness inside. The entire fashion spread is ‘ Flawless.’ She’s posing with a Chanel surfboard for goodness sake.

Aldo Rise X Misha Nonoo
Aldo unveiled its next designer collaboration and we’re expected to get a sneak peek of this collection during New York Fashion Week.
Aldo is teaming up with British designer, Misha Nonoo for a Spring 2015 collection. She plans to give us our first look at the accessory and shoe collection during her spring/summer 2015 show, Friday, Sept. 5 at 4 PM .
Nonoo became a fan favorite after making a splash at her NYFW debut three years ago. The Misha Nonoo x Aldo Rise collection, will include both footwear and handbags that are expected to work for day and night.
The designer said she was inspired “the romantic tension illustrated in Dustin Yellin’s three-dimensional pyschogeography glass collage series.”
Nonoo said the shoes and handbags from this spring collection speaks to her signature design aesthetic. “For this stiletto silhouette (above), we used multiple fine straps that overlap and wrap around the foot to showcase a controlled chaos.” [Instyle]
Barbie Joins Instagram
Move over street style stars, Barbie is serving #OOTD realness. Thanks to the launch of her new official @barbiestyle Instagram handle, Barbie is giving us major style. But did you expect anything else. She’s been in heels for the last 55 years.
The account is operated by Mattel and full of images of Barbie frolicking around L.A. in trendy pieces. Barbie gave us a double dose of denim and a pop of pink.She was also snapped wearing designer threads and reading fashion magazines.
Get this, Barbie is also taking on NYFW. According to ELLE.com , Barbie is staying at the The Standard while in New York and will be traveling with the fashion pack to London, Milan, and Paris.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett Set to Star in H&M ‘s Christmas Campaign
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are teaming up for H&M ‘s Christmas Campaign. The two singers announced the news themselves through H&M’s Instagram account.
The two will appear in a TV commercial airing in November that will feature a track from their forthcoming jazzy album Cheek to Cheek, as well as in print and online ads.
The twosome has already been dubbed as the music industry’s oddest couples do you think this is an odd pair for a holiday campaign? [WWD]
Target Launching ‘Annie’ Inspired Girl’s Collection
Everything about the upcoming Annie movie , starring Quvenzhané Wallis makes me gush. I can’t help it! It’s absolutely adorable. Getting in on the cuteness is one of my favorite retailers.
Target is launching a 25 piece limited-edition girl’s collection inspired by the upcoming film. Target teamed up with the movie’s costume designer, Renée Ehrlich Kalfus to help bring this collection to life. The collection includes fun and playful elements like tulle, embroidery and button details. And of course, Annie’s signature red dress and heart shaped locket will be included in this collection.
The best part of it all is the price point. Every piece is less than $30. The Annie for Target by Renée Ehrlich Kalfus collection is set to debut November 16th, just a few weeks before the movie’s premiere. I have five nieces and of the five someone is getting that red dress. Too cute. [Target]

More surprises for New York Fashion Week. Jeremy Scott and Miley Cyrus are teaming up.The twosome are expected to show off their collaboration at NYFW .
Scott told MTV, ” Miley and I have something very exciting we’re brewing up for the future.” Details surrounding the project are limited but we Scott did reveal the show would focus on individual looks and would also involve “a group of cool kids, rather than models.”

Your Next Manicure Could Prevent A Sexual Assault
Your next bottle of nail polish might save your life. Four college students have created a nail polish that aims to protect you against a sexual assault. North Carolina State University students, Ankesh Madan, Stephen Grey, Tasso Von Windheim and Tyler Confrey-Maloney created, “Undercover Colors,” through a school project.
While the project is in its early stages of development, the creators said the beauty product will be able to detect a date rape drug. Here’s how it will work: The nail polish will change a color when it comes in contact with date rape drugs such as Rohypnol, Xanax, and GHB. All the woman will need to do is stir her drink with her fingers and if her nail polish changes colors she will know something is wrong.
