President Barack Obama was sworn in Sunday in a private ceremony, but today is the the public swearing-in event. Barack Obama and the First Family started the day off attending St. John’s Church. What Michelle Obama would wear on Inauguration Day was highly anticipated. Would Mrs. Obama wear a look from an American designer or would she go abroad. The wait is over. Lady O went with American designer, Thom Browne.
The First Lady styled in a blue and grey textured coat. Michelle Obama teamed her coat and dress with J.Crew heels and a Cathy Waterman necklace. For the outdoor swearing-in ceremony Mrs. Obama ditched her pumps and changed into Reed Krakoff Boots.
FLOTUS added a J.Crew decorative belt to her coat and J.Crew purple leather gloves to keep her warm. Mrs. Obama is chic and sophisticated as always.
Let’s not forget how awesome her hair looks. It’s amazing what a new hairstyle can do for a woman. Pure perfection!
