Happy Monday Sweeties!

It’s been a busy few weeks for me! A lot has happened since we last spoke. Let’s catchup and get into this fabulous feather blazer I’m wearing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I bought a new car! Such an overwhelming experience and one I’m glad is over. Who knew car shopping could be so exhausting?

I’ve also been dating! Wow! Kind of scary getting back out there, but it’s been worth it!

And work continues to kick my butt! Despite the demanding deadline and the stressful environment it’s all been worth it! I’ve been able to tell some amazing stories and well as some truly heartbreaking ones. I’ve met some incredible people who are changing the face of our community. I’ve also came in contact with parents and family members who embodied strength and resilience, during the most difficult days of their lives.

Like I said, it’s been busy but I wouldn’t trade this rollercoaster of a ride that I call my life for anything.

Oh, I’ve been shopping! How could I forget? My closet is sitting on fat-fat * in my Drake voice* I picked up three new pairs of running shoes. Nike game on point! This past month I’ve caught some amazing deals and walked away with some fabulous pieces that I can’t wait to share with you all. This fun feather blazer is one of the new additions to my closet.

This Gianni Bini feather hem blazer is everything! It’s fun, flirty and works with everything in my closet. I paired it with an olive green racerback bodycon dress from Forever 21 and matching lace up heels from JustFab! The Acacia Heels are super comfy and super stylish. For $40 you can’t beat it!

As if the feathers weren’t enough, I added flare to the look with my leopard print clutch.

Simple dress, sexy heels and the most stylish jacket in my closet helped me achieve this bomb look! I feel this jacket will be at the center of more gorgeous looks in the future.

So here’s the back story on this blazer: I fell in love with this Gianni Bini Feather Hem Blazer on Christmas Day, when my girlfriend wore it to my house. I had to have it, but it was out of my budget. The blazer was regularly priced $159. Patience my friend is a virtue. I caught the jacket for 40 percent off. NOW the jacket has dropped to $39.75. Sooooooooo run my friends to get this blazer now!
