I love this time of year. The decorations, the Christmas carols and movies. Let’s not forget the countless parties and I’ve already made my way to few. This weekend I stopped by an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. My college friend held a “Jingle Mingle” Party , where guests were asked to bring a gift for a a family who was less fortunate. Don’t you love a party with purpose? I picked up a few goodies for the kids and moseyed on down to the party.
Of course, I played the part and sported an Ugly Sweater. Every year I pick up a new sweater from the thrift store ( check out pics from the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party I attended last year HERE ).
This year’s sweater was a certified hit! This black and gold sweater looks like a tic-tac-toe board full of ornaments.
I paired my sweater with a black leggings from TJ MAXX and a pair of Over the knee Truffle Collection Lace Up Back High Heeled Boots. Let me tell you, these are by far the best over the knee boots I’ve owned, because the boots actually fit my legs and my thighs.
I have super skinny legs and boots always look slouchy on me. You may want to try this brand if you have smaller legs like me.
I finished my festive look with a gold glittery Indian style turban and vampy ombre lip.
My sweater was so ugly ( ugly-cute ) that I won a prize. You’re looking at the second runner up in the Ugly Sweater Contest!
Overall I had a great time catching up with old friends, meeting new people, and hanging out with my day one friends.
