Deciding what to wear is still a daunting task. Can you believe I had this same problem when I wore school uniforms? Pants or skirt? White or blue top? It’s no escaping it for me, but this summer things got a little easier. I developed a go-to- look that featured some of my favorites from the season. I call it my summer uniform. I’ve worn it HERE, HERE , and kinda sorta HERE. PLUS, there are countless more times that aren’t pictured.
That look will almost include a kimono style cover up, along with a floral headband and choker. Heels and a figure flattering dress complete the summer look. It’s nothing earth shattering, but it works for me. When all else fails, I can quickly go to my summer uniform and boom, problem solved. It’s helped me in a crunch here, here, and here
Here is an example of my summer uni. I wore a simple white sleeveless dress , teamed with a rose printed Kimono.
I played up the red a lot in this look and added my Public Desire lace up heel sandals.
My favorite floral headband finished the look. The daisies are perfect and give me all the Boho feels. A white lace choker finished the look.
You can do this too. Just decide what you feel most comfortable and stylish in. Of course, your go-to look won’t work for every event in your calendar, but it should cover the basics like dinner with the girls or the movies with a boo.
Now add a few of those pieces to your wardrobe, if you don’t already have any. You’re one step closer to establishing your go-to look. It’s a problem solver for getting dressed.
Do you have already have go-to look? Tell me in the comments. Don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to establish my fall look.
