All white will never go out of style, but the way you put your look together can sometimes become a bit stale if you don’t make simple style adjustments. For me, I like to mix it up a bit and play with texture.
Here’s an example. I paired mywhite and black “Work of Art” sequin top from Forever 21 with a faux leather white leather skirt.
White strappy sandals from Zara finished the look.
I loved this shoot, because of the location. We went back to my childhood neighborhood. I grew up in Eastlake, an east side neighborhood in Birmingham, AL. Over the years the community took a turn for the worst. Work is being done to revitalize the community and I got a look at some of the work.
We snapped pics outside of the cool Eastlake mural and stopped by East 59. It’s a vintage shop and cafe. The place is so freaking cute, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable.
I always dreamed of living in a swanky neighborhood. I hope this is the start of something even better to come.
Plus, it will be my future hot spot for Ooh La La’s photo shoots. Don’t you just love how this white pops against this beautiful backdrop?
