2015 was filled with some fabulous fashion moments and one fashion faux pas (same dress, different girls). Certainly there were more highs than oh no’s. Here are my top five favorite fashion moments of 2015.
5: Style Files: Dear Summer, I Miss You
Oh boy, 2015 was cold. I’m talking one of the coldest in Rochester’s history. I kept warm in style, wearing an over sized and insulated camouflage coat. The look was teamed with a white faux fur vest, matching turtleneck and distressed jeans. I paired the all white with nude colored over-the-knee suede boots.
My wide brim hat blocked the sun, but did nothing for the brutal wind that whipped my behind all winter long.
4. Style Files: Color Crushing
I tried a monochromatic look with a color other than black. I rocked red-on-red, teaming my Joe Fresh cable knit sweater with a flirty pleated skirt.
A red turban and suede pumps completed my look. I took a chance and I think it paid off.
3: Instaglam: Camo and Jeans
This look never made it to the blog, but it was a hit on social media. I played with a camo print again, but it was much warmer this time around. I teamed by printed tunic with my favorite jeans and a trendy bomber jacket.
This look worked for dinner and a few games of lasertag.
2: Style Files: Here’s How to Look Fierce In Fringe
I nearly froze to death in this flirty fringe skirt, but it was all In the name of fashion. I paired the black suede skirt with a simple black turtleneck, a leather sleeve blazer and long faux fur vest.
Over-the-knee boots and thigh high tights brought this look home.
1: Style Files: Here’s How You Pull Off A Pinstripe Suit and Still Look Sexy
This was by far my favorite look of the year. I never felt more sexy. Who knew suits were sexy? More importantly, who knew pinstripes could look this fabulous?
The suit was thrifted and it fit perfectly! The side mesh crop top and bright red red lips only added to the sultry look.
What do you think of my top 5 favorite looks of 2015?
