Sweeties,
Next to stripes, polka dots may be my favorite print. It’s fun and whimsical. Any time I wear this print I’m always smiling. It’s something about polka dots that bring a positive energy. Usually if its polka dots and stylish, I’m grabbing it. So imagine how excited I was to spot this MERONA polka dot blouse on Target’s clearance rack. The blouse is simple, and although polka dots are considered fun, this blouse didn’t skimp on the sophistication.
Because of the button down style of the blouse, I knew without a shadow of a doubt I could rock it with just about anything in my closet. So I put it to the test. Check out how I styled my blouse three different ways.
Wear Your Polka Dot Blouse with a Bold Color
Have a little fun with your polka dot blouse and team it with a bold color. I paired my blouse with a bright blue faux leather mini skirt. This number has been in my closet since 2010 (remember to shop your closet).
I continued the fun color with my Just Fab Paean ankle strap sandals in Sea foam green.
A colorful statement necklace added the pizazz I was looking for. Can you believe I scored this necklace from Walmart? It was only $10.
A matching blue quilted chain purse finished the look. Typically I discourage matchy-matchy looks but I thought this bag was perfect. A pop of pink would have worked as well.

Wear Your Polka Dot Blouse with a Print
Try a daring print to team with your polka dot blouse. I suggest a print that’s in the same color family as your polka dot blouse. In this case, I picked a black and white print.
I paired my polka dot blouse with a Peter Pilotto for target skirt and my Zara white strappy heels.
A lucid bib necklace finished my look.

Wear Your Polka Dot Blouse with Distressed Denim
Keep your polka dots casual and team your blouse with distressed denim. I paired my blouse with MOSSIMO distressed boyfriend shorts that I scored from Target for $6.
I finished the look with Unif spiked loafers and a chunky silver chain necklace.
I had a little fun and teamed my polka dots with a polka dot headband. Talk about a polka dot overload.

Hey were your Zara High Heel Strappy Sandles true to size or could you go down a size and be fine?
The heels were true to size. I have really small ankles so the ankle strap is a bit loose.
