I’ve never been big on department stores until I spent three years in a Dothan, AL. It’s a small town in the southern part of the state and shopping among many things was limited. But that experience helped me appreciate all the steals and deals you can score at department stores. My two favorites at the time are J.C. Penney and Dillard’s.
J.C.Penney has by far the best sales. Just last week I saved $80 in discounts. Dillard’s isn’t bad either. At the end of every other month the store offers a 40 percent discount on all of their sale items. #Winning.
I’ve literally went crazy in that store. Once I bought a $200 suit for less than $50. Now that’s a deal.
Just a few months ago I racked up again,buying shoes galore (check the HAUL video HERE).
Dillard’s is now offering that same discount until Saturday. Unfortunately for me I no longer live in that small town in Alabama and my new home doesn’t have a Dillard’s Department Store. #NotWinning
All of my shopping will have to be done online. I’m usually okay with that, but my weight is all over the place so I want to try things on. Welp! Regardless, I won’t miss this sale.
