I’m EXHAUSTED! Over the weekend I traveled to St. Petersburg, FL to celebrate the union of my cousin and her new husband. The wedding was GORGEOUS and she was such a beautiful bride. Her wedding was also an after five affair. Surprisingly, everyone got the dress code right and were dressed formal or semi-formal. Unfortunately that’s not always the case. When it comes to after five weddings, guests tend to go too casual. For an after five wedding that’s semi formal, cocktail dresses are perfect. For guys a dark colored suit and a nice tie will work. If it’s a formal affair, fellas pull out the tux and ladies dust off your floor length gowns. Typically after-five weddings are semi formal so I created a style guide on dressing for an after five summer wedding.
