Sweeties, I must admit I was little sad when “Being Mary Jane” didn’t come on Tuesday night. I actually loved the show. Gabrielle Union, who plays Mary Jane, along with AKIL Production did an amazing job on addressing real life issues. We all can relate to some aspect of the show. We also loved the show’s soundtrack and Mary Jane’s wardrobe. It appears some of you ladies also tuned in to the BET scripted drama. We recently received a “Reader Request” from Anna who also loved MJ’s wardrobe. She said, “Where can I purchase the yellow jacket being Mary Jane was wearing?”
We did a post last year after “Being Mary Jane” the movie premiered, but we didn’t give the exact brand of Mary Jane’s jacket. We now know that she was wearing Theory Lanai Yellow Bistretch Blazer.
The blazer features an open front and dual side welt pockets. The blazer is constructed of Theory’s bistretch cotton fabric. I absolutely love the strong shoulders. The blazer retails for $355. Unfortunately the blazer is no longer available in Daisy (the yellow color).
