Can you believe it’s August already? I’ve enjoyed every minute of summer. I hate to see it all go. I plan to make the best of this month. Sweeties, how do you plan to cap off your summer? KeKe Palmer Will Play First Black Cinderella on Broadway
KeKe Palmer is making history again. After becoming the youngest person to host a television show, she will soon become the first black actress to play the Cinderella on Broadway.
The “Just KeKe” host broke the news on social media. She Tweeted,“I’m sooooo excited to be doing broadway for the first time, as Cinderella!! DREAMS DO COME TRUE!!”
Sweeties, I share her excitement. This young lady inspires me beyond belief. I can’t wait to see KeKe rock her glass slipper on the Broadway stage in the title role of “Rogers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella.” You can catch her on stage starting , Sept. 9 at the Broadway.
Update: Joining KeKe on stage is The View’s Sherri Shepherd. She’s making her Broadway debut as Madame, the evil stepmother to Cinderella. Congratulations to both ladies! [abcnews]
Beyonce Will Receive Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs
Sweeties, I’ll be honest, last year’s VMAs was a bit boring, but you better believe I won’t be missing the awards show this year.
Mrs. Carter herself is set to hit the stage and more importantly, she’s receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. That’s an amazing honor and it’s definitely well deserved .
Beyonce, who is wrapping up her final leg of her #OnTheRun Tour is nominated for eight VMAs including, Video of the Year and Best Collaboration for “Drunk In Love.”

Supermodel and Yonce Girl, Joan Smalls is fronting Free People‘s editorial debut. The brand recently launched its August “Magalog,” which is an editorial-advertorial hybrid publication. Inside Joan Small gave us a mix of bohemian and festival chic.
The model was styled in fringe, floppy hats , bell bottoms, baby doll dresses , and layer to perfection. Joan, along with the fun pieces from Free People, I might add an bohemian chic section in my closet this fall. Yes, its just that amazing, take a look for yourself.

If there’s one celebrity closet I would want to shop, it’s definitely Victoria Beckham’s. And I will soon get the chance to get my hands on some of Victoria’s signature looks. She’s teaming up with TheOutnet, where she will sell 600 pieces from her wardrobe for charity.

Givenchy Introduces $300 Limited Edition Lipstick
I thought Christian Louboutin’s $50 nail polish was a bit pricey, but this latest beauty product tops the cake. Givenchy is introducing a limited-edition Le Rouge lipstick for the holidays with a $300 price tag. WOWZERS!
The lipstick will come in Givenchy’s Le Rouge shade 306, Carmin Escarpin. The classic red shade is perfect for the holidays, but it still does nothing to convince me to drop $300 on a tube of lipstick.

Tiffany & Co’s Signature Blue Boxes Could Get A Makeover
Sweeties, I still remember getting my first piece of Tiffany & Co’s jewelery. It was 2002 after my debutante ball. Four years later I got another blue box for Christmas. It was decorated with a red ribbon. I still have both boxes.
I can speak for most women, but your heart skips a beat at the sight of one of those blue boxes, but Tiffany may be getting rid of those iconic blue boxes for something that may stand out even more.
The company’s new creative director, Francesca Amfitheatrof, told the September issue of Vogue that she’s not afraid to make her mark by changing the famous packaging. “I might do limited editions, maybe in a pattern.”

Jada Pinkett Smith is straight out fabulous! The beautiful actress and producer is showing us just how good 42 looks in the latest issue of Net- A- Porter’s ” The Edit” magazine.
The sleek and chic spread was shot by Chris Colls, on the roof top of a New York City hotel. He captured Jada in figure-hugging dresses by Victoria Beckham and The Row.
Inside she dished on how she stays in shape and her secret will make you envy her more. She takes an easy breezy approach to fitness. “I look better than ever and I work out less. Cara Delevingne the New Face of Topshop
Cara Delevingne is at the center of Topshop‘s Fall 2014 fashion campaign. Her ads mark the first time the brand has featured one model for its campaign. The Chanel model was the perfect choice.
In the campaign’s 12 images photographed by Alasdair McLellan, we see Cara sitting pretty in a with a guitar in a little black dress and white fur. She gets edgy in a leather moto jacket and leopard pencil skirt. Love!
Sweeties, Cara looks great in this global campaign, but I’m more excited about the Fall 2014 collection!

Microsoft Launching ” Selfie Phone”
After getting this news, I may have to ditch my iPhone for this next gadget. Microsoft is planning to release a “selfie phone.” According to The Verge, the handset has a 5-megapixel forward-facing camera and 4.7-inch display.
As a self-proclaimed “selfie queen,” I have a few requirements when it comes to my smartphone camera, and megapixels are everything. And Microsoft‘s selfie phone is a front runner!

Olivia Palermo X Aquazzura
You can now add shoe designer to Olivia Palermo‘s resume. The certified style star is teaming up with Italian brand Aquazzura for a capsule shoe collection.
The six-piece collection is very “Liv Like.” It includes over-the-knee boots, crystal-embellished sandals, and snakeskin flats, all of which Olivia considers as a “survival pack” of footwear.
The prices for the collection range from $600 to $1,625 and will be available at Net-A- Porter and other retailers in September. [WWD]
Essie Launching Vending Machine Full of Nail Polish
Your next flight delay just became less of a headache, well kind of. Essie is taking a cue from other beauty brands and is setting up vending machines full of its nail polishes at airports across the country.
So the next time you have a massive layover or your flight is delayed a few hours, don’t fret just stop by the Essie Color Boutique. Select a polish like your would a soda and give yourself a manicure to help the time pass.
The vending machine will be loaded with 48 shades of polishes. Each bottle retails for $8.50.
The first kiosks are opening this month in the Oakland International Airport and the JetBlue terminal at JFK.Additional spots expected at the Dallas-Forth Worth airport, the Oaks shopping center in Thousand Oaks, and the Shops at Mission Viejo, both in California.
