Solange Knowles is taking her creative eye and sense of fashion to Puma. The songstress and certified style star has been named the new art director and creative consultant for the sports lifestyle brand.
The 27 year old announced the news on Instagram. There she posted a sickening picture of her legs and feet in the air while rocking Puma sneakers. The rest of her body is underneath water. Dope , right? Get this, Solo helped design the brightly colored sneakers.
You can get your hands on these kicks and more fresh sneaks next February. The shoes are from the Girls of Blaze Disc collection.
Here’s what Solange had to say about her new role:
It is in my new role that I am able to express my love for not only design but the conception of creative ideas, and the execution of them by curating amazingly talented teams. I’ve had so much fun producing special content, ad campaigns, events, and working alongside the awesome Puma team with some of my favorite emerging artists, photographers, graphic designers to create activations that really celebrates both mine and PUMA’s approach and philosophies.
Congratulations Solange!!!! I think a pair of Puma’s are in order.
