What we’ve all been waiting for finally arrived! Kanye West debuted his SS 2012 women’s Ready- To- Wear collection at Paris Fashion Week today! I was expecting hotness and Kanye West delivered on so many levels. The rapper -turned designer teamed up with All Central Saint Martins graduates to bring us “DW” by Kanye West. It’speculated that the line is an homage to his late mother Donda West.
So Here’s our take on the collection…… It’s sultry without being slutty. It’s just the right amount of sexiness. I can tell his inspiration came from some of the designers he may admire. I can see hints of Gucci, Herve Leger, and Alexander Wang. This collection wasn’t made for the average fashion girl. It’s made for a woman who believes details make the design. Kanye West designed his collection for a woman who is confident and comfortable her skin and not afraid to be sexy. I can say this collection is not made for everyone woman.. I truly believe if Kanye was a woman he would rock each design.
