First Lady Michelle Obama ditched the red , white, and blue and opted for a non traditional color for the 2014 State of the Union address. Lady O was gorgeous in green, wearing a Azzedine Alaïa dress and a matching crop jacket. The dress boasts a conservative color, but the skater skirt makes it playful.
The textured frock has a body-con fitted top with a full skater-skirt that features wide ladder-knit stripes. The First Lady added a black leather waist belt to her look what appears to be emerald green tear drop earring.
Michelle Obama nails it once again! What are your thoughts?
The First Lady looked amazing, but it was Sgt. 1st Class Cory Remsburg that captured our hearts.
The Army Ranger was the president’s guest. Remsburg was on his 10th deployment before he was seriously injured by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan five years ago. The 30-year-old soldier suffered significant brain damage along with a list of other major complications.
At Tuesday night’s SOTU address, Remsburg received a standing ovation from congress. .
Cory’s service and sacrifice can never be repaid.
Thank you.

Nope. Not feeling it. Too dark and broodish for this event. I would have chosen a royal blue ensemble for her.
I love the silhouette and texture of the dress, but I too was surprised by her color choice.
