Just when I thought I saw every costume for Beyonce’s ” Mrs. Carter Show ” World tour, the ” Creole Queen ” comes with yet another wig snatching look. Beyonce debuted a beautiful Roberto Cavalli gown at her show last night. The multicolored muslin silk printed gown features gold embroidered straps. For added sexy the dress features cut out sides and two side slits.Werk!
Surprisingly much of talk isn’t about this gorgeous gown.Instead the buzz is surrounding this sketch of Beyonce posted on Roberto Cavalli’s official Facebook page. The sketch virtually diminished Bey’s curves and her legs look rail thin.
People, it’s just a drawing. Relax. We all know Bey has a body that flatters any silhouette. Once she slipped into the gown and hit the stage it was no denying those curves.
As always, she looked gorgeous. Bey gave that dress life while giving us a little taste of “Gone with the Wind Fabulous.”
Update: After yesterday’s hoopla the fashion house, Roberto Cavalli issued a statement via Facebook saying,
“Dear Fans,
We would like to clarify that the image of the gown created by Roberto Cavalli for Beyoncé is a sketch and not a photo, and therefore it is only meant to be a stylized and artistic vision.
Roberto Cavalli loves women and more than anyone else has always exalted and highlighted the female shape with his creations, building his signature style on the glorification of sensuality and femininity.”
