Four more years! President Barack Obama was re-elected as the 44th president of the United States of America and I’m beyond excited! President Obama’s victory is so sweet especially after putting in the hard work during this campaign. For once, many young voters feel like their vote really did count. I’m thankful for the grass-root campaigns across the country. It was you, the people who knocked on doors, made phone calls, and registered people to vote that helped President Obama win this election. So this means FORWARD for this country and more FASHION from the First Lady Michelle Obama, who I affectionately call the First Lady of Fab. Last night’s look proves why I’ve marked Mrs. O as the First Lady of Fab. Didn’t she look great? Get this her beautiful raspberry dress is a repeat. Lady O rocked her Michael Kors dressed from two years ago. Last night makes the the third Mrs. Obama wore her Kors dress. I swear FLOTUS makes being a repeat offender so fashionably.
The First Lady teamed her dress with a black cardigan.
Mrs. O also sported one of her favorite pieces, a broach.
Michelle finished her look with black pumps with a small kitten heel.
Yes, her hair was on point! And another Yes, to her new stylist. Mrs. Obama’s look has evolved over the last four years and so has her hairstyle.
I must admit I waited with bated breath to see what the First Lady would wear. I expected something a bit more, but I’m okay with her choice. She has FOUR more years to wear something that hasn’t been seen by us fashion followers.
Meanwhile, take a peek at some of my favorite looks on the campaign trail.
Michelle Obama rallied supporters in Miami wearing a purple shirt dress with a green, grey, and blue floral print. Mrs. O finished the look with green pumps.
Mrs. Obama also went with a floral print dress at Broward College also in Davie, Florida.
It was prints again at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
Michelle Obama also played with color on the campaign trail. Lady O wore a bright pink Michael Kors crop jacket and a matching sheath dress at the 2nd Presidential Debate.
This look was known as the battle of pink since Anne Romney also wore a pink dress at the debate.
Mrs. Obama won of course.
The First Presidential Debate Michelle Obama wore a purple Preen suit from the designer’s fall 2011 collection. Don’t you love her grey colored nail polish?
Michelle Obama was a show stopper at the 2012 Democratic National Convention. Mrs.O wore a custom made Tracy Reese Dress and J Crew pumps.
What was your favorite look during the 2012 presidential campaign? Mrs. Obama’s neon pink Michael Kors number was my favorite. Color is king in my book!
Again, congratulations to the entire First Family and Joe and Jill Biden. President Obama you are a true inspiration to us all!
