Created by Kathryn Jackson, a Chicago native and Tuskegee University graduate, Jackson has created a new product that will save the sole of your shoes.
Protect Your Pumps is a protective transparent adhesive that’s placed on the bottom of the shoe (sole). The adhesive is not intended to serve as a new sole, its function is to simply serve as a buffer between the bottom of your shoe and the ground.
Protect Your Pumps is designed for shoes that have a leather sole. Jackson said they’re currently working with manufactures to develop a new adhesive that is safe to use on shoes with painted soles such as Christian Louboutins. The current adhesive is for non painted soles, but has been used with great success on many brands such as Badgley Mischka, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Dolce Vita, Seychelles, and Sam Edelman.
