I’ve wanted a sleeveless coat since 2015. Yes, I’ve been lusting for nearly two years. I avoided the cool coats, for several reasons. One, I’m “cold natured.” It’s kind of weird that I’m always freezing. Needless to say I was miserable during those Upstate New York winters. Secondly, the coats didn’t seem functional in the subzero temperatures. I’m usually fashion over function, but when hyperthermia is an option I get into formation real quick.
Good news: I’m back in the south and mild winters are the norm, so the that cool coat option I avoided for a while is now an option again. I’ve really taken advantage of the seasonal shift down south and loaded up on sleeveless coats. This one from SheIn is not my favorite. It meets my two requirements. It’s on trend and on budget. I only paid $12.
The coat is the right kind of fab. The colors are so rich. The bright yellow is a perfect mix with the soft pink and neutral grey. It’s made of a scuba material , which is very stretchy . An extra small would have worked better than the small I purchased .
If you’re on the fence about a sleeveless coat or worried about its functionality, let me reassure it’s a must-have for your wardrobe. Here are a few ways the coat could work all year long.
This winter team the sleeveless coat with an actual coat. The sleeveless coat can act as an extra layer to keep you warm. This will certainly come in handy for people who live in colder climates.
This spring rock a light weight sleeveless jacket and pair it with a long sleeve top, like I did here. I’m only wearing a grey cotton t-shirt under my coat.
For summer nights pair it with a sleeveless top . In the fall team your jacket with a sweater underneath.
