Happy Birthday to Me! Over the weekend I turned 25 for the sixth time and had a ball celebrating. The celebration started Friday night and continued through Monday. I had plans to make it back to Alabama with family, but opted to stay back in Rochester. I’m surprised by the amount of fun I had in the city. Here’s a recap of my Birthday weekend:
Friday
Friday was my first day off work in a month so I literally laid around all day. Later that night I went to dinner and bar hopping.
I kept my look super simple. In fact, the pants were a repeat from Beyonce and Jay Z’s “On The Run” concert. In my case, second time is a charm.
I paired my printed bell bottom pants with a flirty coral top, and black Steve Madden Mayven Heel Sandals.
My pants and top are a gift from last year’s birthday. It definitely came in handy. Simple but on trend for the night.
Saturday
After a fun filled night I actually woke up for brunch with my co-workers. We dined at Jines Restaurant on Park Avenue. The weather played nice so we are able to eat outside on the patio/sidewalk. Isn’t that one of the best things about summer?I ordered the Cinnamon Swirl French Toasts and a glass of Mimosas. Delicious!
For brunch I kept it easy breezy. I wore a sleeveless light grey midi dress. I paired the dress with my fringe heels that are to die for. Before I was even seated, I received a mountain load of compliments.
Since it was a sunny day and because I’ve dying for a pair, I wore my mirrored tinted sunglasses.
The colors in the tinted sunnies matched my lipstick and dress. Perfect! After brunch I went shopping and started resting up for Saturday night.
The weekend was turning out better than I could have imagined and this was only Saturday evening. Stay tuned tomorrow to see what I wore Saturday night and Sunday on my actual 31st Birthday!
