Michelle Obama and I , have a few things in common. We’re both in L-O-V-E with Jason Wu! It appears we’re not alone. His spring 2014 showing brought out industry insiders and fashion royalty, making it the place to be. Alicia Keys and Maria Sharapova were sitting pretty , both dressed in black. Fashion Queen and Vogue Editor-in-chief Anna Wintour was also on hand, making Wu‘s front row one of the hottest this NYFW. While the scene was electric, it’s the beautiful beading that made it’s way down the runway that has me really excited. Take a look.
The designer showed his spring 2014 collection yesterday in a beautiful loft in Soho and I’m drooling over his pieces. For this collection Wu’s inspiration was “Construction with ease”. He focused on feminine pieces that offers an effortless look. While he loosens things u a bit, Wu doesn’t skimp on the sexiness. Several pieces offers us sultry silhouettes in a muted color palette.
