Life+Style: Six Useful Blogging Tools To Help Create Content During Pandemic

2020 has surely thrown some curve balls our way and forced changes in our everyday lives. From work to the grocery store, changes are visible on all fronts. It’s no surprise those changes also impact content creation in the blogging world. For me I’ve limited my interactions with photographers and I shoot my own content 99 percent of the time. I also avoid super cool , popular places to practice social distancing. So that means I’m shooting more at home or in my neighborhood. I needed a couple more tools to help me pull this off and create useful content. Here are a few tools I recently purchased to help me get the job done alone.

The ESDDI Camera Tripod  is sturdy , the extension reaches about 78 inches, and there’s a ball head which allows for cool shots.

The Canon RC-6 Wireless Remote has been a game changer! It allows me to set up the camera, get in position, and snap my picture. Before I had this remote I would have to press the shutter button run and get in place before my 10 second timer went off! A hot mess!

UBeesize Flexible Cell Phone Tripod with Wireless Remote Shutter:

I decided to grab the UBeesize Flexible Cell Phone Tripod for my cell phone in case I wanted to vlog or shoot a quick video. I love this tripod because it’s flexible. I actually wrapped it around a tree limb for a shot before. It serves as a selfie stick and a tripod for a steady shot. I selected this tripod because I love the flexibility aspect and the wireless remote that’s included with it. This is a Bluetooth remote that can connect from up to 30 feet away.

I’m shooting more content inside my house and the lighting situation leaves a lot to be desired. I needed seriously lighting help so I picked up the HPUSN Lighting Kit. This was such a great investment. My at home pictures have elevated since using it for my content creation.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing! I would never know that you shoot your own content, it is fire! Can I ask what kind of Cannon and lens are you using?

If I have a photographer I give them image credit, but I’ve been working by myself lately. I have the standard lens that came with my camera and its a Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 . I hope this helps.

  2. I do have a Ubeesize Ring stand…I need to get this one too.! ESP when I need to place the stand on my desk and hand holding!
