First Lady of Fashion: Michelle Obama’s Democratic National Convention Custom Tracy Reese Dress and Pink J.Crew Everly Suede Pumps

First Lady Michelle Obama is the epitome of grace.  Her powerful speech Tuesday night at the Democratic National Convention was electrifying.  Mrs. Obama is so heartfelt, genuine, and passionate.  My journalism background had me listening  attentively to her  words so eloquently spoken, but my fashion side had me going bananas. Mrs.Obama  SLAYED. Her hair was laid like world peace and her dress is Ooh La La certified! Mrs. Obama styled in a custom made pink and grey sleeveless dress by designer Tracy Reese, paired with pink J.Crew Everly Suede pumps! #POW

The printed sleeveless toile dress was a perfect choice for Lady O. She truly knocked it out of the park.

But can we talk about this hair?  Bouncing and behaving is an understatement. Even her flyaways were on point. You betta get it FLOTUS.

Check out her grey manicure. How cute? This is why I love Michelle Obama and this why she will forever be known in my book as the First Lady of FAB!

If you missed Mrs. Obama powerful speech here are a few quotes.

“We learned about honesty and integrity – that the truth matters…that you don’t take shortcuts or play by your own set of rules…and success doesn’t count unless you earn it fair and square.”

“And believe it or not, when we were first married, our combined monthly student loan bills were actually higher than our mortgage. We were so young, so in love, and so in debt.”

“For Barack, success isn’t about how much money you make, it’s about the difference you make in people’s lives.”

Michelle slayed the dress and the speech. She looked fabulous! She made me proud to be a woman, a mother, a wife and an American at the same time. Today I walk a little taller and I am happy to get up and go to work knowing I’m making difference and moving forward. Thanks, Mrs. Obama, for making me remember what is so great about living in America.
