I’m ready for spring, but my shoe collection, well that’s a different story. My closet is filled with winter faves. It’s time to put away my sexy over-the-knee boots and booties and quickly get into spring mode. And this season there are five pairs of shoes that will get me on the right track.
Modern Mules:
Mules are back and these heels are coming with a vengeance. Mules were a 90’s favorite and designers like Alexander Wang and Giuseppe Zanotti have revamped the backless heels.
The modern version of the mules are edgier and far more chic then the clunky mules we remembered from the 90’s.
Slip On Sneakers
Here’s another blast from the past. Slip on sneakers are also a 90’s favorite. The shoes were usually reserved for the skateboard crews, but after these sneakers made their way down the spring 2014 runway , the shoes have etched their way into hearts of style stars every where.
With the help of designers like Céline , Givenchy, and Michael Kors the selection of slip on sneakers are endless and more stylish than ever.
Don’t worry designers like Steve Madden and Sam Edelman also have more budget friendly versions of the sneakers.
Slip on sneakers are definitely giving wedge sneakers some serious competition this spring.
Gladiator Sandals
Gladiator sandals were a hit last season and now the sandals are back for another round of fashion fun. Whether its heels or flats the roman inspired sandals look great either way .
White pumps
Are you still scared to try the white heels trend? Don’t be. White heels provide the perfect contrast to any look. Just think of the heels as the new neutral.
Ankle Cuff/Strap Sandals
Ankle cuff/strap heels are a fashion favorite for the season. Whether its pumps or sandals these heels are sexy and perfect for the office and Happy Hour.
