My weekend was beyond amazing. I celebrated my grandma’s 75th birthday in a MAJOR way. The family threw her a surprise party and I played host. I had a few things up my sleeve, which included a tribute video. The smile on her face was priceless.
My grandma’s birthday celebration was the start of this great trip back home. The rest involves some fabulous finds I scored at the thrift store. I promise a HAUL video is a must!
My thrifting partner is my gorgeous mother. We hit three stores Saturday and the thrifting gawds were on our side. The first thing I spotted when I steped inside the store, was a BAD to the bone red leather skirt. That skirt set the tone for the rest of the shopping experience.
I also went to the Farm House to grab some spices from Dak’s Spices. DAK’S are the spice blends created by newlyweds Drew And Karen (DAK). I promise their DAK’S BOURBON BARREL SMOKED PEPPERCORNS is the best thing that happened to my LIFE. I’ve been out for a month, so operation re-up was a must.
I finished the weekend by enjoying a funday with my mom, dad, and baby brother. I know the weekend wasn’t extravagant, but it was the perfect weekend for me. The older I get, the more I value quality time with my family.
