The count down is over and the unofficial start to summer is here. Tomorrow kicks off the three day Memorial Day weekend. Some of you have exciting adventures waiting, while others are considering a staycation. Whatever is on your agenda make sure you look good while doing it. I kept things festive by sticking with a red, white, and blue color scheme.
I paired a simple red racerback midi dress from Forever 21 with an over the top Steve Madden Flag Yarn Topper that I scored at T J Maxx for $20. The Kimono style piece features fringe details. The detailing certainly makes it a statement piece that I’m so glad I didn’t leave behind.
I added more flare to my look with these attention-grabbing Public Desire “Mary” Red Tie Up Sandals.
A Forever 21 braided flower crown finished the look. I own like a gazillion and one flower crowns, but this one may be my favorite. It features a braided faux suede tie and the daisies are super cute!
