President Barack Obama was the keynote speaker at the  Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual Phoenix Awards Dinner this weekend. It was there, Obama made his first public remarks since the Navy Yard Shooting earlier this week.  He also  addressed controversial issues facing  the nation. Right by his side  was his wife and First Lady, Michelle Obama.  For the black-tie affair, Lady O  rocked one of the season’s hottest trends.  Mrs. Obama styled in  a white and black plaid strapless gown.

In true  First Lady form, Mrs. O  added an embellished  belt to her look.  It wouldn’t be right if she didn’t add a waist belt. It’s her signature look.

Lady O wore a center part and cascading curls to complete her glamorous look. Sweeties, do you love it?  Sweet or Sour?
